We have a huge bounce house. We got it at Costco 2 years ago. It is not the small ones they sell at Toys R Us. This one is really big. You cannot fall out of it either. You have to climb up a small slide to get in it. I have children the same age as the OP's. Like any activity you need to supervise. Kids can get hurt doing anything. That doesn't mean I let them do anything they want but I supervise and they are fine. I am not going to not let them try anything because they "might" get hurt. Oh- and they have been on a neighbor's trampoline. I was there to supervise and they were fine. However, I prefer the bounce houses. I feel they are much safer. I think they are a great way for the kids to have fun. You can also take it in at night if the weather is going to be bad so no need to worry about high winds.
