Question about Tom Sawyers Island

I have size concerns about TSI ( I know that sounds weird ). Do you HAVE to go through the narrow tunnels and whatnot? My dh is worried about it because he doesn't want to end up like Homer Simpson when he went to the water park (You know, he got stuck in the tube and they had to airlift him out. ) . TIA!!!

No you have outside choices, I am a bit afraid of small spaces so I tend not to go in the tunnels. However they are really not that small. I doubt he would have any problems.

The fort is way fun, we love to relax there.

It is really up to you. You can just walk around and adore the view. There are things like bridges, caves, and a fort; but it is totally up to you what to explore. If you havn't been there before it is worth the raft ride.

You will may want to skip the two caves and the upper passages of Fort Langhorne, but their pathways are actually fairly wide. Just be sure not to take the "secret exit" from the fort; That tunnel gets quite narrow indeed. Otherwise you'll be fine exploring all of Tom Sawyer Island.
