Question about tips on MYW dining plan

When I bought the dining plan I was told that the tip was included in the price of the package....

My question is: how much of a tip are we talking about? Is this a fixed amount or a % of your bill?

I am really curious and wanted to tip extra but I was wondering how much their tip was to begin with.

Any one knows about this. I don't want to leave a cheap tip if I get excellent service.

The tip for your server will be 15% of you food bill. I tend to tip more than that, and am planning on adding in another 5%.

O.k this is what I was thinking....anyone else can agree with this? Not that I dont beleive you. I seem to have been told that they were tipped a fixed price ( 2.00 /credit) . This info has been given to me by a travel agent.....I sooooo hope he's wrong, because then WDW would not be fair in making us beleive that the tip is included.

I will gladly leave a tip accordingly. If they are in fact tipped 2.00/customer I am outraged!

Was this on the dining plan? I know this is how much you normally tip when you pay by yourself but how much do the waiters REALLY get when they serve you and you are on the plan?

That is what everyone coming back from using the dining plan has been saying, the tip is included and is 15-18% of the ticket total.

Yes all my receipts from the plan say 15% but we tipped extra whenever they gave good service, which was just about everywhere I think.
