Question about tipping and other subjects

We will be at BI starting Nov 5th. and I have a few questions.

Is there room service and how many DDDP credits does it take? I'm not really interested in the pizza delivery.

I read that people ask for certain rooms or even upgrades. How do you do this? What rooms would be best if you want quiet?

How much do you tip housekeepers, bellhops and valet parkers?

Can we get bedrails for our kids or do we need to bring our own?

Does Boardwalk have back-up generators?

I'll probably have a lot more but these are highest in my mind right now. Thanks

I have never stayed at BI, but I can tell you about my tipping habits. I tip $1 to $2 per person per day for room service.

As for luggage/bell-hop, we try to tip $1 to $2 per bag at least. We tip more if they watch a lot of bags for us if it is our final day.
