Question about tickets expiring

Hello, guys!
I have a question about Disney tickets and I'm kinda confused.

I have an ASMovies reservation for January 31-February 9 and I have 8 disney parks/days tickets but I want to use only 5 during my stay at ASMovies. Will I still be able to use the 3 left in february 12, 13 and 14 even not on disney property anymore?

I'm kinda confused because on My Disney Experience it's saying my tickets expiration date is February 9th...

Thanks in advance and sorry for my english!

As PP said I am pretty sure that most tickets last until 14 days after first use, regardless of your hotel stay. The only exception might be if they are some sort of special ticket tied to your reservation. But I suspect not, and that the expiration date on MDE is just defaulting to the hotel check-out date.

as mentioned, it's 14 calendar days from first use unless it's a ticket with different restrictions (a ticket that length shouldn't be restricted).

there have been tickets (including 1 now) where it's more restrictive but it's a specific 4 day ticket right now so your good going by 14 days.

Could it be that you're trying to book your Fastpasses now? You can only book 60 days out for the days that you're on site. So while your tickets will still be good for 14 days from first use, regardless of whether you're on or off property, if you're looking at MDE now, any dates more than 30 days from today that are not on site days will look blacked out. I have a hunch that's what you're seeing.

I think regular tickets expire on the 14th day, including package tickets. The special shades of green sold tickets and military salute tickets are exceptions.

So, if you use the tickets on January 31, the last day you can use them is Feb 13.

If you don't use the tickets on arrival day then they would be good until Feb 14

Big thanks guys for your answers, here's what I know:

My tickets are tied to a special promotion (MCW MYW Pkg + Quick Service Dining at all star movies - preferred room)
it's 8 days tickets, I'm gonna use the first one on february 2.
And the last day I'm planning to visit a disney park (the 8th day disney ticket) is february 14.
am I okay with that plan?

big thanks one more time guys! you guys are the best! :)

Yes! I got fastpass for all the 5 days I'll be staying at the disney hotel and the rest were all blocked. But then yesterday I was able to get fastpass for february 12 (I'll be out of the disney hotel this date) the rest are all blocked. So today I think it will open the february 13 (and tomorrow 14th) am I right? it proves that my tickets will still be able to be used? big thanks in advance

Yes once you check out of your hotel but still have ticket says you get a rolling 60 day calendar to book your fp+ so each day opens the next.

does that confirms that I'll still be able to use my remaining tickets after I leave the disney hotel?
Ditto what the above poster said. Once you check in tickets are just tickets. You can adjust tickets individually and do whatever you want with "extra" days. Checking into your resort activates the tickets so they "separate" from the resort stay in the computer system.

Your tickets aren't connected to your hotel stay, so there's nothing to confirm. As long as there's days left on your tickets and you're within 14 days of the first day you used the tickets, you're good.
