Question about THV reservations.

My brother has used some of his HH points to reserve a 2-BDR villa at SSR at the end of May. He was told he could submit his request at the 48 hour mark. My question is, either at that time or when they check-in, he will be requesting availability at the THV. Is it possible for that to happen? Should it be available. He's going to ask, because he really likes the THV.

It's a separate booking category. He needs to change his reservation to a THV if that is what he wants.

What's this about 48 hours? You can add a request to your reservation anytime, not just 48 hours before.\

If the THV isn't available for points now, he needs to waitlist it.

Agree with Deb & Bill. A Treehouse villa may be the same number of points as a Two Bedroom villa, but you have to specifically secure a reservation for one of the Treehouses. There are only 60 tree houses total and you're well under 7 months from arrival so I would strongly recommend calling immediately. Have him put in a wait list request if there is nothing available.

The only thing that needs to be added before the 48 hour mark is to add a dining plan if you wanted it. That's for any accomodation, not just the THV.
