Question about the Wave- how do you interpret this?

On the menu online, it lists desserts like this

Creamy Indulgence - Cheesecake with Raspberry Coulis, Coconut Panna Cotta with Passion Fruit Drizzle, Chocolate-Passion Fruit Mousse with Pecan-Olive Brittle $7.99

Decadent Flavors - Blueberry Compote with Yogurt Gelato, Lemon Cornbread with Vanilla Panna Cotta, Chocolate Mousse with Salted Caramel Sauce $7.99

Crispy and Crunchy - Vanilla-braised Pineapple Spears, Almond-Pineapple-Raisin "Baklava", Zucchini-Carrot Cake with Vanilla Panna Cotta $7.99

Does this mean that each dessert choice is actually a tasting plate with three miniature desserts?

I think that's how it works....my sister described it to me and I am quite sure that's what they do.

I love this idea - DCL did it on the cruise and it was a great way to try different things without over indulging.

You are correct. You get all of the desserts listed under the main description. I was all excited to here to try the desserts, but was disapointed in them. JMHO though..................the presentation was pretty though. Our main dishes were delish though!

Thank you!

Which desserts did you try?

That pecan olive brittle sounds so interesting!

but REALLY tiny!!! This is DD's favorite story from last year's trip. We ate at the Wave and LOVED IT!!! But I was too full for dessert. I asked if any of the mini-trios could be packed to go. She said yes, the pineapple tidbit, baklava & whatever would pack & brought me my precious package in your typical styrofoam take-out container. I carefully carried it through MK EMH and, back at the room, settled in to enjoy my treat. Well, I could have fit all three in the palm of my hand:rotfl:. DD laughed for an hour!!!

but they are just OK. Nothing all that special, but the food at the wave is great! Last trip we ended up eating there for 5-6 meals there cuz of the convenience, fresh, healthy but very tasty alternatives.

Actually, those are suggested tastings. You can mix and match. So if there are three that you are interested in, just ask for those three. Since all are priced the same they will freely interchange.

one of our favorite places for desserts, they are bigger, better and cheaper than the trio at not-Tutto-much Italia.
Each of the 3 is one huge bite:confused3or enough for a coupla nibbles.
We went for soup and dessert for lunch last Sat.

We have been there twice and the desserts were pretty good but I would rather a nice huge dessert instead of a little bite that I was forced to share with DH, the meal was to die for, appies and entrees were incredible!

This is what I did. I knew I wouldn't like all three in any of the three combinations so I asked to pick and choose. The waitress said she would ask and came back and said ok but they don't really like you to do that. The three I choose were great - that carrot cake is out of this world!
