OP, I noticed that you are located in Michigan - having a baby in the middle of the dark cold winter months is definitely not the greatest, IMHO. I was in the same boat as you. A winter baby plus PPD plus SAD on top of that!
It was really hard for me to do, but one of the things my doctor encouraged me to do was get outside every day to get as much sunshine as possible. This was not fun in the raw March weather, but it really did help.
