My flight is not scheduled to land until 11:59pm on Friday. I anticipate a slightly earlier arrival since they almost always over exaggerate the time from NYC to MCO, but regardless, it will still be late.
I’m curious if anyone has gotten their room number by text and/or seen the number on MDE with a late arrival and then had it changed on them before they get there. I could understand if a pipe exploded in the room or something mechanical happened (which I suspect is what they would say anyway), but I’m curious if they would assign the room to someone who complained about theirs and wanted to be moved for a non-mechanical reason? Or if once the text goes out and/or it shows up on MDE you can be sure that is your room?
Does that make sense? Like, if I see a room number assigned on MDE and/or get a text with it earlier in the day, can I be sure that barring some mechanical reason the room has to be taken out of service that THAT will be my room? Or is there the possibility that I would get an “Oops! Our bad! Here is your room?” text and/or see it change.
