question about the pirate cruise....

i just read another thread about this. i had never heard of it before.

do you call disney to make the ressie? and how much does it cost? do you pay in advance, what if dd won't get on at last minute, do you get a refund?

I`d ask when you make the reservations, but call at your 90 day mark, b/c they only take a certain amount of kids, and it gets booked quickly. And yes you call the same # to make your meal reservations, (I used the 800 # and they redirected my call)
My son and nephew had gone in Nov and they loved it. The staff are all women, which we were a little disapointed with, (no real pirates) but I guess in this day and age , Disney is afraid of incidents with children If you know what I mean. They took them on a ship , played games, got mickey pirate ear bandanas and hunted for buried treasure. Each child gets a small treasure chest to put all their treasures in.
I sent my son with a disposable camera and we were laughing at the pictures he took. Some were just precious! Well worth the money! It was 30 bucks a child. and it goes out for 2 hours. Plenty of time to enjoy a quiet breakfast at the Grand floridian cafe.
