Question About The Mummy Ride

I can get motion sickness backing out of my driveway too fast and I LOVE the mummy ride!!:rotfl2:

I do not like Expedition Everest as it send you backwards really, really fast, and in the dark. That one bothered me enough that I won't be doing it again.

That said, it's been four years since I've ridden the Mummy Ride and we are leaving here in 10 days to do US and the thing I'm most excited about is riding the Mummy Ride again!!! I can't wait!! When we were there last time, I couldn't believe how much I loved it!!! Whenever anyone mentions going to US I tell them they HAVE to try Mummy!!1

So coming from a motion sickness pro - you will be fine! Try it please!!:thumbsup2

I probably will try it... at the beginning of the trip. My family usually says something like, "Come on, Mom, how bad can it be?" After the ride I usually explain in detail just how bad "it" can be. :) I can do Splash Mountain (my fav!) and Dinosaur (also cool), but BTM, Space Mtn. and of course Everest are rides I tried once and retired myself from.

this will make me sound really daft - but does it make you jump alot!!!:rotfl2: It may sound lame, but I don't like that ' jolt' you get when something makes you jump so alot of times I cover my eyes just in case!!!:lmao:

I know the mummy has great special effects, so I don't really want to spend the whole ride with my eyes closed, especially if I don't need to !!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

If you are talking about "air time" then yes...you jump a lot which is one of the best things about ROTM...Lots of "air time". :thumbsup2

I am one of the biggest coaster chickens but love the mummy and now got my oldest DS hooked and he is even asked how many times we are going to ride it this year :lmao: :lmao:

Also, its one of the best rides from any theme park, its a must do. It is probably my 1st or 2nd favorite at Universal, the themeing and the way its tied in with the movie, and even the line themeing is tremendous. I do it probably more than any other ride when I go except for Spiderman and Jurassic Park, which I do equally, usually at least 10 times a visit.

I probably would've made you scream in the queue then. I was one of the creepiest minions!!!! :rotfl:

Don't tell me, it was probably you that scared me out of my brain on the one and only time I went to HHN !!!!:lmao: :lmao: - Me and DH ended up leaving after 3/4 hour as he couldn't cope with me jumping every ten seconds and clawing his arm to death!!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: never again for me!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
