My kids got their first H1N1 shot last month and had no adverse reactions. They were due to get the second dose today, but my inept pediatrician didn't save any doses back for the kids that needed second shots, so they won't be able to get the second dose because H1N1 shot are NOWHERE to be found. I hope one dose is better than no doses.
This happened to us with the mist. I got a call 2 days before my oldest 2 son's 2nd appt. I was a little upset that they didn't keep enough on hand for appts already made.
My youngest got the shot when he went in for his 2nd flu (he got his first seasonal flu at 6 months) and they were only giving shot to under 2 and he got one of the last doses. They will call me when they get more in..
Of course they are running shot clinics around here, but none of the pedi's have it. I work in a nursing home and we don't even have it, yet. the clinics are for kids and we've been told if they've had nasal spray, they should stick with that and not the shot for the 2nd dose. then others have been told it was ok. UGH.
But...to answer OP's question, no adverse reactions from any of my kids!
