Question about the disney vacation account

So I started the dva do I have to put the money in the account for the 120 days or can I put the money in then just go ahead and pay for my cruise. I want to make sure I get me free 20 bucks for every 1000.. Any info on this thanks

My account was open more than 120 days but the entire amount of my contribution was not (e.g. as you stated I paid for things immediately after depositing). I received bonus gift cards on the entire amount I deposited, regardless of how long the actual funds were in the account.

So assuming my experience was standard, you can pay now.

This was also my experience when I first opened mine - I didn't wait the 120 days before moving to DCL to pay towards a cruise. I didn't request my $20 card(s) until after the 120 days and honestly - you won't even see the option to request the bonus card until that time. Seeing the link was a woohoo moment
