Question about the cooking programs at Hilton Head.

I noticed there are several that are for adults.

Anything for kids. DS 8 loves to cook and I wondered if there is some type of cooking activity at the resort he could enjoy.

In the busy times, there is a program called "Shadow's Doghouses" (or something like that) where the kids make a "house" out of graham crackers, I believe. (My kids are older, so I don't go to the kid programs, anymore. )

I don't think that there are really any "hands on" cooking things for kids, though.

Even the cooking classes for adults are not hands on -- Chef Gordon demonstrates and everyone gets to sample. He also shares the recipes.

Probably not what you wanted to hear...

This is where I really miss Disney Institute -- I took some great cooking classes there and I think they had kid classes too!

I guess I was hoping for something "hands on" for kids.

He just loves to cook. He must get that from his father.
