So a my friend and I booked out hotel room months ago, got a good deal at The Boardwalk. Upon further research to find we're in a "Honeymoon Cottage"? On top of the fact that the room only has one bed, and we don't want to share. Am I confused on this? And I arrived on Saturday I'm not sure hw much I can do

It sounds like they possibly upgraded your room. The cottages are all club level with one king bed and one queen sleeper sofa. You can try calling to make them aware you'd like the category you booked and need a room with two beds, if the sleeper sofa isn't an option.

There is a sofa bed on the first floor of the cottage and a king bed in the loft. You won’t have to share but you’ll have to draw straws to see who gets the sofa bed.

I don't mind sleeping on the sleep sofa, but I'm confused cause I've read some of the rooms don't have sleeper sofas

It might be helpful to call signature services and ask for additional information on your booking and room configuration.

Disney Signature Services at (407) WDW-7777 or (407) 939-7777 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time.

I have stayed in one of the cottages and, if you don't want to share a bed, it's not a great set up. I would call whomever you booked through and see if you can modify your reservation to another room category and, if so, request a room with two queens as they will, sometimes assign king rooms to parties of 2. If there is nothing available at BWI, you could always see if you could modify to another deluxe as well - both BC and YC are also in the EP resort area.

I personally would keep that cottage! They re very spacious & There is an extra half bath downstairs. I’m pretty sure the sofa does still convert to a bed. They are lovely & the location is fabulous. And the concierge lounge is one of the best on property! Maybe you should keep it at least until you’ve checked in & see how you feel about it before changing rooms. I think you’ll love it!

I think the sofa beds were removed with the last renovation. We stayed in one several years ago & there was a modular sofa, no sofa bed. You might ask on the Boardwalk in or Club level threads to get info from people who have stayed more recently. The WDW website only lists a king bed & the room limit is 2 guests. If you look at the room descriptions on the website, they list out sofa beds & include those in the total room occupancy for room types that have them. This room description does not include a sofa bed or the extra person in the occupancy count. So I’m pretty sure no sofa bed.

Did you book this room or did it get changed in MDE? If you didn’t book a garden cottage & are getting an upgrade, call & see if you can decline. If you did book it but you don’t want to share a bed, you need to call & see what else might be available.
