Question about switching a reservation

I made a reservation to stay at SSR 2 nights in a studio, then move to a 1 bedroom for 4 nights. This is our home resort, so booked at 11 month window. I've since thought that it might be fun to do a split stay. Just curious...would I be able to change our 2 night studio reservation to stay at AKL at 7 month window? Or are we locked in to our original reservation?

You can change your ressies --a lot of people book at their home resort so that they have a reservation, then try to change resorts at the 7 month window.

At 7 months out, call MS and see if they have the stay you want available. If they do, you will cancel the studio stay at SSR and book the stay at AKV.
