Question about SW credit.....

Well this is it....I'm making my reservations for Aug and I'm hoping for a special or ding to come along later on(we are going on a cruise next April so a credit is ok with us)but here is the question: My daughter and I are going, me on Tue she cant make it until Wed so if I make 2 reservations under my CC but of course in her name I shouldn't have any problems using that credit if I get one should I? Has anyone done this before?

I am not exactly sure if this is the answer to the question, but.... I had a credit from flights that I took in March. I used that credit to pay for the tickets for my trip in August. The March trip was in my name, but I used the credit towards my mother-in-law's ticket for August.

Was that as clear as mud or what?

I have had a similar situation and the answer is yes, you can use the credit for someone else. I had booked a flight, with my cc for someone else and they then had to cancel a month later. I cancelled on-line and about 6 months later, I was able to use the credit toward an different flight for someone else. They only asked for the credit id# and the name of the person. You should be fine !
