Question about SW and Air Tran merger

From what I've heard the merger/buyout between SW and AT was approved. Does anyone know when SW will take over Air Tran? I was wonderfing if they will continue operating as independent airlines...will schedules drastically change...gift cards be interchangable?

The Airtran fleet will be rebranded in SWA colors/logos and they will work as one airline. Will probably take into 2012 to complete change over.
