Question about staying onsite and tickets

Please help. We have never been to US and are planning our first trip in Dec. Here is what we have planned but I am not sure how tickets work. We will be staying at an onsite resort, just not sure which one at this point. We are family of 4, kids are 11 and 7.

We plan to arrive late Tuesday night, 11/30 and check out on Thursday, 12/2
I was hoping to make our park days Wednesday and Thursday but will I lose the onsite guest benefits on Thursday since I am checking out that day? Wasn't sure how this all works.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have only stayed at RPR & HardRock, RPR is our favorite by far.

Even when we stayed at the Hardrock we still spent
most of our pool time at the RPR.

Love the atmosphere there.
