Question about SSR ownership in 2043

When all the other DVC's (okay, older DVCs--I'm sure there will be plenty of newer DVC, as well) have reverted to Disney ownership, where will you be able to use those points? How will that work?

You'll be able to use SSR points at SSR - and possibly future DVC resorts that may be built. That assumes Disney elects to include SSR with the future resorts in a DVC-like arrangement. No guarantees that will happen.

You won't be able to use SSR points at the resorts that have reverted back to Disney's ownership.

All unused points from OKW, BWV, BCV, VWL, VB and HHI expire on January 31, 2042.

Thanks, Carol! I wouldn't mind spending those extra 12 years at SSR...Now Daitcher and B^3 would probably think those extra years have no value at all if you could only use them to stay at SSR

so would it be safe to say in the last year of the bcv/bwv/hh/vb/okw contrats when ALL those points need to be used, that they could be used at SSR?

dave and I have both said MANY MANY MANY times that the best thing about SSR is 12 years.

Just to add to the info Carol has provided...
It's likely (not guaranteed) that there will also be Member Getaways, which includes the Disney Collection.

After the 2042 resorts leave the DVC family, it's quite possible they will become part of the Disney Collection.
The same could be said for WL/BC/BWI.
