Question about Split Stay and DDP

We are going to be at Disney for 7 days. We split a stay between AKV and BWV, but have bought the Dining Plan for the entire stay. Does this mean we have to use all of our credits for our AKV days by midnight of the day we check out of AKV or will we be able to use our credits for the whole seven days. My understanding is that the credits for the AKV stay will expire at midnight of the day you check out of AKV and move to the BWV.

That is correct we have done several split stays. They will expire midnight the day you check out of the first resort. And you new credits begin that same day since you are then checking in again. You have to be careful if you have credits left on the akv plan make sure you use that room key for your meals. If you accidentally use the bwv key the credits will be taken from that plan and any leftover points from akv will expire at midnight.
