Question about ship models and getting them signed

While on the ship I would like to purchase a model of the ship and then get the Captain to sign it. How much do they cost and is there a special time that the Captain signs them? I read somewhere on these posts that the Captain of the Wonder will be on vacation while we are onboard(April 22-25). Can anyone confirm this?

We were on the Magic in January. I believe the ship model cost around $28.00. We had the captain sign it at a signing event at the store on Thursday.

I believe that they have signs in the gift shop to let you know which day and time the captain will be signing items. It is also in your navigator. We have had several different items signed - ship model, course map and Christmas ornaments.

The $28 or so for the ship model. We had one of these done a couple of cruises ago, and this last time had one of the small charts done.

It is pretty well posted when the signing will be - sea day when there is one.

I just got one from the Wonder, and the ship model was $28 and I also got a poster with Ariel on it and the ships in the background.

The Captain signed them both on our last night.

We bought the ship and a 5x7 matted picture of the ship docked at CC and had both signed.

NYGiantsRule or FantasticDisFamily how big is the course map you bought? Would it be something you would frame?

Don't worry, there will be a captain on board...when one is on vacation, another takes his place or there would be no one to drive the ship!
