Question about Sept visit

We have reservations at DLH starting Thursday Sept 29 for 4 nights. I am realizing that Thursday will be the least crowded day of our trip. We will be driving down from N. California. I'm thinking maybe we should drive down the evening before and stay at a different hotel the night before (Wednesday night) so we can get an early start on Thursday. Do you think it will be worth it to do so?

If it will make your trip a bit easier and won't break the bank, then why not? Would it be possible simply to add the Wed. night to your DLH reservation? Then you wouldn't have to change hotels at all. If you arrive early enough Wed. night, you could do dinner at Goofy's Kitchen to get the magic rolling.

I would do that. Friday - Sunday are Anaheim Gay Days and the whole area will be extremely crowded. You'll want the whole day on Thursday as it will be easier to get around and do things.

If you can afford it I would! That weekend is going to be crazy busy!! Chances are there will be a Halloween party that Friday (possibly the first one) making it even busier!

I would do that, and then check in at DLH first thing in the a.m. You can get Magic Morning that way, even if you can't get in your room until the afternoon. They'll hold your luggage for you.

I'd definitely get in the night before if I had the option. That way you can get a good sleep and hit the parks refreshed! You'll want to take full advantage of the lesser crowds on Thursday for as many hours as possible.

Heck yes. Worth it. Like the previous poster said, you actually get the emh on check in day also.
