Hi,
I normally lurk but wanted to see how most people handle salary history or salary requirement requests in a job opening ad (like on Craigslist for example). Most advice articles I've read say to avoid giving this and to say something like "I would rather discuss this in person" because potential employers would normally not hold it against you if you don't include it like requested. However, my friend told me today that in his experience, resumes are thrown in the reject pile if its not included when requested.
So can anyone share what your experience with this is? Also, where do you usually put that information? And is it bad if I only list my most recent salary? TIA!
