I have reserved 2- 1 bedroom units for July, and requested that they be near each other. When would I be able to know which rooms we have? Do they have that info ahead? Just like to know in advance where my family will be.

Thanks

Samantha

You will not know until you check-in and your rooms are ready. They don't release the room number until housekeeping clears it as complete. Many times they do not even assign the room numbers until you are at the front desk. Which resort are you staying at?

When you are standing at the front desk and the room is ready, then they will tell you the room number(s). If the room isn't ready, they will only show you a general location on the map. If it isn't ready, you will get a card with a phone number to call later in the day. Once you call and it is ready, they will tell you the room number.

They would answer questions like is it a NS, what floor.. questions related to my requests. So maybe they will assure you the rooms are close together.

At least this is how it worked 2 weeks ago at VWL.

"Near to each other" is a subjective term, some will interpret it to mean right next door, others on the same floor, others within a short walk, but on different floors.

When we have requested "Near to Each Other" at OKW, we have always been placed either in the same building, or adjacent buildings, like 20 and 21. It has always been convenient for us.

Once at BWV I requested my BIL be close to me. I was on the first floor, he was on the fourth. But I was told at check in we were close. We were in the same zip code! :rotfl:

staying at BCV, thanks for you help everyone!

Ha! You were closer that that - you were in the same building! :earboy2:

We had 5 rooms of various sizes at BWV and we were all on the 2nd floor, very convenient to each other. Some of us were able to get into their rooms before 10AM and others weren't ready until just after 3. This was on the 19th. They did let us into the studio part of the 2 bedroom before the other part was finished. Don't know if that was a mistake on their part, but it was a great place to stow most of the things we had.
