Question about resort parking

We plan to arrive at our Disney resort on Friday and then pick up a rental car at the Dolphin the next day. When should we ask for the parking pass? Should we ask at check-in or pick up the car first and then drive it to the resort to get the pass? I can't remember if they put the car info on the pass.

When should we ask for the parking pass?

Definitely get your parking pass when you check in at your Disney resort hotel. I've never been asked for vehicle information at a Disney resort.

Take the parking pass with you when you rent your car. When you return to your hotel with your car, the parking gate attendant will see that you have parking pass. (Be prepared to show your resort ID too.)

They don't ask for any info about your car at all for the Disney Resort hotels. Sometimes the passes are all ready printed up and ready for you before you even check in.

Get it when you check in.

If possible, get the parking pass sooner (before picking up the car) so you don't have to walk back to the car to insert the parking pass in the windshield.
