Question about renting

I want to take my 2 kids to Wilderness Lodge Villas in January. I keep seeing "home resort" written but never for that place. Does it have to be someones home resort for me to rent from them or would anyones points work for me? I am not real sure how all this works. I rented last year for OKW but it was that persons home resort. Any info would be appriciated.

If it is 7 months out from your checkout date, any member can use their points to get you a reservation. If it is 11 months to 7 months and one day, only a member with that resort as their home resort can get the reservation for you.

Right now, any member would be able to make a reservation for you (based on availability) in January, 2006 since we are within 7 months. Only reservations more than 7 months in advance (up to 11 months) require ownership at the specific resort.

Just post the resort, dates and villa type on the Rent/Trade Board and see if someone can assist. You can also respond to a member's offer to rent.
