Question about renting points

I am not a DVC member, but have been looking into the idea of renting points for a trip. If I need to rent a large number of points, do they all need to come from the same DVC member in order for a reservation to be made?

Since you are not a DVC member, you can do nothing with any DVC points- they can only be used by the member who controls them in his account.

As a renter, you are not actually renting any points- only a reservation made using points.

If the dates you want require more points than one member can offer, you can have them reserve as many days as they can and then find another member (or members) to reserve the other dates. All of these separate reservations can easily be linked together so you won't have to move.

Of course, it would be a lot simpler to find someone who can reserve the entire stay for you, but multiple owners will still work if necessary.
