I have a sort of complicated question. Bought DVC resale prior to new regulations about DCL and other disney resorts with ex-partner. New partner and I now have a post-regulations contract with same use year but obviously we have different member numbers for contracts.

I haven't asked my ex about taking his name off of contract because I am scared I will lose the benefits I'm grandfathered into. Would that be the case? I paid for the contract in it's entirety myself and I don't think he would contest if I asked. He's rented some of the points already.

Plus, if I added my new partner's name to this older contract, is it possible to consolidate member numbers given we have same use year?

Thanks for help!

Only Member Administration can give you the correct answer. I would contact them.

No, if you change the names but a prior owner stays on, the contract will have the additional pre March 21 benefits. It's actually pretty easy to do. You will not be able to combine these 2 into 1 though, even if you get the names identical.
