Question About Reciptions.

Hello everyone

My prince to be and I are currently in talks of a Intimate Wedding package.

My one big question is about a reception.
Our plans are to hold our reception at home in Michigan.
Our wedding ceremony itself, we want to keep as a small, personal, and private event for basically our parents and grandparents.

Would we run into any problems with the wedding planning staff by not holding a actual reception while booking our wedding?
