Question about recent changes to the boards

Hello there tech experts. Question...I noticed that recently there are ads on the DIS boards that seem to be tracking sites where I've been recently. I never used to notice the ads here being specific to my internet browsing - but more specific to the individual board sponsors. Is this an intentional change authorized by the DISboards or do I have a virus? My DH is an IT guy of sorts and he's concerned that there could be something going on with my computer that we haven't detected with virus software.

BTW, if it's something new going on that ya'll implemented I'm not necessarily a fan of being tracked like that. But I just wanted to check to see if it's on purpose.
