I booked tickets for my family, but noticed my RR number is only linked under my ticket. D I earn points if I put my families tickets under my RR number? Is it too late?

I have this question too. It's me & my DD. I bought both tickets. Do I earn her points too?

I'm pretty sure you have to have your own account to get points for the flight. That's been my experience with other airlines and with SW as well. I pay for flights for my DH and I but I only get points for my flight. As far as it being too late, you can still set up accounts for them and each can add the flight or claim the flight shortly after the trip.

Set up accounts for the rest o them and either add the #s now or add them at checkin or I imagine even at the gate.

On every airline I know of the person whose rear is in the seat earns the award, but you have to have your own acct number to do that. No one earns points or miles just because they pay, you earn when you travel and only for your own ticket.

That's correct. The only points that can go into your account are from your ticket. Everyone has to have their own account. Some airlines allow transfers but there is usually a fee involved.

Southwest allows transfers between accounts without charge and everyone is correct in that you only earn points for your own flight. Everyone has to have their own RR #. Gotta love SWA!!!
