Does anyone know when your premium plan amenities expire? I know the dining portion is good until Midnight the day you check out. Is it the same for all of the recreation, Cirque etc? Also how does the preferred seating work for Wishes and Illuminations? I was wondering if you had to use those vouchers while you are staying at the resort or if you could use them after. We are staying off property for the week following our stay at POP on the Premium package and I was wondering if those vouchers were time sensitive. I would appreciate any advice in getting the most of this plan!:)

Pretty sure all elements of the plan run out midnight the day you check out. Lucky you ...I'm jealous:snooty:
Have a wonderful time!!!:woohoo: :yay:  :woohoo: :yay:

thank you for your response. I have asked this question a few times when I have called and never got an answer until finally earlier today. And yes I was told that the plan runs out at midnight. We are only doing this plan for 1 night before we head over to our time share for the week. I thought it would be something nice to try. So we have a very busy busy two days!! I hope it all works out with my plans. Once we check in which I am told 7:30 is the earliest we are off for a wild adventure. I told my DH not to plan on sitting down until our 3rd day. We were planning on doing CRT and Akershus during our visit and I was hoping to go to Cirque as well and when we added just those alone up it was worth doing the Premium Plan for the night which is really two days of activities that are all included. On that plan it is only 1TS for any of the dining and shows. So with the 1 night package we are going to CRT, Akershus and Hoop Dee Doo in (Cat 1) and we have tickets for Cirque the other night. We are also doing the Segway tour, my husband will golf both days, we are going parasailing and are going on Carriage Rides. So I am looking forward to doing things we probably would not have done otherwise. And then we will still have the week to take our time at the parks! I am so excited I think more so than my kids. :woohoo:

I just wanted to say have a great time, have fun and enjoy in your upcoming trip. Looking forward in hearing more from you after you came back.

Have a nice day everyone. :)

Just for the record, I applaud your plan here. While I have no idea when I'd be able to get away just with DW, I had been contemplating a similar idea for the future -- do a split stay with just a night or two of premium (or even platinum) DDP, and use those meal credits for the 2 TS meals (or even those not on DxDP, like V&A, RFC, or TRex), as well as having access to park tours, golf, La Nouba, etc.

So, on say a 2- or 3-night Premium stay in the middle of a longer vacation, use the "bridge" days in the parks with the big 2 credit meals, do the tours, etc., and then use the middle day(s) as "resort" days, taking advantage of the golf, water sports, etc.

With a rather intense 3-4 day period somewhere in the middle, we would probably be able to do basic DDP for the rest of the trip, which would probably balance out to a lower average cost/day than DxDP for the entire time... (or even stay offsite for part/all of the rest of the time).

I agree. Great plan! Making use of the premium dining plan takes away alot of park time. I never thought of doing it that way. :thumbsup2 HMMMM. something to consider for next year.

Thank you. I hope it works out because on some things I am not giving us too much time in between. We will have our own car so i am hoping that will help. We are actually taking both kids with us 5 & 3 but my parents will also be joining us. So for some of the activities we will be swapping the kids. Like the Segway tour and my parents will be taking the Behind scenes Steam Engine Tour. I will gold one day with my DH and he will go one day alone. We are all going on the boat for parasailing but DS is too young but will enjoy the boat ride. And we will also rent some of the other boats as well. I think it will be a nice start to the vacation. They will have get to see characters at the meals but we do not plan on doing much at the parks until the 3rd day. We also have the preferred viewing for both Fireworks shows so they will enjoy that as well. I will have to post a little mini report of how it actually works out in the end when I get home.

I agree I really don't know if it would be worth doing for the entire week because when would you actually be able to use everything that is included. I came up with the plan when I realized you only had to book 1 night minimum onsite and could still include your tickets. We are staying at a timeshare so the only thing we needed was tickets but I also really wanted to do some of the other shows dining. My husband is happy to be golfing for 2 days but then he will still not miss anytime in the parks with the kids the rest of the week. Golf alone for the 2 days is almost $500 and that is what we paid extra for the package. So it will be interesting to see if I planned too much!

If you do the platinum for one night, while you plan on going to V&A the premium plan is worth it. The cost is $209/night and Victoria & Albert's is $125. Toss in a tour, Cirque de Soleil plus tours and spa treatments and you've got a day that you're really getting your value. (This is probably the reason that it's not available for DVC owners like myself - I'd totally do this for one day when the room was 'free'. Not sure that I'd want to transfer resorts from a value or mod after two days/one night of pure enjoyment.
