I have reservations October 6-10th---- is there anything going on in Disney or at Pop that would make it overly crowded-- like camps, sprts events, cheerleading etc??

and what is the quietest place to stay in Pop Century if you were a light sleeper?

Thanks in advance. :wizard:

In 2003 our 2 week trip spanned over the last week in Sept and the first week in Oct.
Well, the Sept part was really sparse as far as crowds, but as we got closer to Oct. we saw the attendance increase. We were told that it was because of the start of the MNSSHP (Halloween parties)

Still, I wouldn't say it was terribly crowded, just more crowded than in Sept. For ex., in Sept. we walked on most attractions or waited 5-10 mins max. In Oct., we used Fastpass for some rides bc. the lines were longer than 20 min wait time.

This year we kept our entire trip in the month of Sept. ending on the 24th. I believe the first MNSSHP is on Sept 30th (????)

my best advice for a light sleeper would be the top floor... even during hurricane frances it was very quiet up there! also, i would suggest requesting a 50s section room facing hourglass lake, away from the hustle and bustle of the pool/foodcourt/parking lot...

My understanding is that all the large groups (i.e. cheerleaders, etc.) get placed at the All Star resorts.

I loved POP! Enjoy! :)
