Question about pool at Beach Club

We are currently trying to decide on a resort for a quick 2 night stay in Disney before we head to Universal. I have a question about the pool at Beach Club as it is a possible contender in where we will stay.

First I want to say that I am not trying to get around any rules. I just wanted to know if anyone has had experience with this.

We will have 5 guests in our room. My son's girlfriend will also be in Disney with her family, but is not staying with us. Is there any way Beach Club CMs would allow her to join us at the pool for a day, specifically Saturday, July 1. I would fully explain to the CMs that she is not a guest in our room. I know they are very strict at BC with the pool rules. I am simply wondering if they have ever been known to allow this or if the answer will be a definite no. Her family is staying off site in a time share, otherwise we would have just tried to book at same resort as them. Thanks!

If the magic band does not scan as a guest of the beach/yacht club she will not be able to get a wrist band and enter the pool.
And since that is the start of the July 4th holiday, I would say no...especially since you said she is staying off-site..

Some yrs ago we were staying at BCV. My brother at a value. He wanted to go into the pool area just to take pictures of my kids, not to use the pool at all.
He was told no.

Thanks yall. This is what I expected and don't have a problem with them enforcing this rule at all. Just wanted to see if there was even a chance they would allow her to join us. If it wasn't so expensive I would book a two bedroom and add her to our reservation, but simply not worth it for a day at the pool. Lol.

You can ask the lifeguard for permission to have her join you. It's entirely up to their discretion, but they may allow it.

You probably can all spend the day at the quiet pool. But not SAB.

We did ask and my daughters friend was allowed by the life guard to join us for an afternoon...this was over Labor Day weekend. Hope that helps!

Since you are okay with being told "no" I also suggest asking the lifeguard. It never hurts to ask.

The Poly pools are pretty busy, but I wanted to explore them when I took a DVC tour in December. I know it is not the same thing, but I asked if I could go inside, and was allowed entry.

Yes, way different just walking around than using the facilities.
I've stayed at Poly a couple of times. Hope you went to look at the hot tub. It's the only area you can't see from outside the gates, and is very pretty.

I did not see it. I just wanted a peek, and thought the entire area was lovely.

Last June I stayed at the Beach Club and my sister and brother-in-law were allowed in with me and my family.

It really does depend on who you speak to.

FWIW, when my partner and I stayed at BC early this year, we walked to the pool together and they only checked her band and let me walk in with her. Granted, it was not a busy day, so that may have had something to do with it. I say ask and if it doesn't work, there is always the smaller side pools as a consolation
