Question about Poly?

Hello Everyone..
I was wondering how big the refrigerators are at the Poly?
I am planning on have some groceries delivered and I wasn't sure if a gallon of milk would fit or if I need to order 2 half gallons instead. I know silly question but I am wondering.

I think you might be better with 2 half's. Just to play it safe. We had a bottle of wine in fridge but it was turned on side to fit. (Its just a regular small bar type fridge.) Or call and ask. They are so helpful.

The fridges are small -- dorm-sized. I don't think you could fit a gallon jug in them. I agree w/the PP -- two smaller half-gallons would be the way to go.

One thing we did was remove the shelf on the bottom of the refrigerator so we could stand som larger bottles upright.

I think a gallon would fit, but agree that you probably want to err on the side of caution and get two 1/2 gallons.

D'oh!! (smacks forehead) Why didn't we think of that?! I feel so dumb now -- that will def. make things easier next time!

Go with the two 1/2 gallon bottles. The fridges are quite small, so I would just play it safe.

Just back from the Poly....full gallon would fit just fine - although getting 1/2 gals you could probably fit it on the door (which is where we kept the bottle(s) of wine (which fit fine when closed, but once opened you couldn't fit them back in unless you pushed the cork in at least 1/2 way))...

Where did you get the bottle of wine? We were going to order some wine and beer with a Garden Grocer order, but I don't think they carry it. Do they have a liquor store on-site?

You can get a small assortment of beer, wine, and the good stuff (rum, vodka, etc) at the snack shop on the second floor of the GCH. It will be pricy and you may need to take more obscure items with you. I believe garden grocer (though there are others as well) can get and deliver these items.

We have used wegoshop.com 5 times and we have always had beer and wine delivered. One difference with wegoshop is that you "free text" your order and there are no limitations.
We have been very satisfied with them and we will use them again in the future.

Amy, on the Garden Grocer site you can write in any liquor you will need. We always have them pick up beer and wine coolers. They add the cost on your bill later.

a gallon will fit just fine. we have stayed there twice and had gallons in the frig both time.
