Question about playing SOTMK

There will be 3 in our party and we all want to get SOTMK cards. My question is, can only 1 of us at a time play at a portal, meaning instead of 20 mins to defeat a villain it will take us 60 mins (approx)? Or can we all 3 scan our key cards and play the same game?

You can only use one card at a time. It probably won't send the 3 of you to the same places in the same order so you'll be playing separate games anyway.

We have all four of us connected to the same game. Only one person can play a card at a time, but the kids take turns at the portals.

ETA: If you play the same game, only one person will have the "key card." But from the SOMK group I'm in on FB they're not offering physical key cards anymore and you now have to use your MB as your "key card" to activate the game.

Thanks for the info.

I will be keeping my cards to give to my granddaughter. The 2 in my party offered to play the game to get the bonus pack of cards and give to me as well and I wasn't sure if they had to each play separately in order to each get the bonus pack. Anyone know how much the packs of cards are in the Emporium? Ive looked and havent been able to find that info.

Everybody can get the cards, regardless of whether or not they intend to actually play. I didn't know you could purchase cards.

Each "player" gets a set of cards each day, as long as the game they're attached to has been played. My husband and I aren't players at all, but we're all connected to our kids' game so that instead of getting 2 packs of cards each day, we get 4.

I think the card packs have been out of stock a lot recently. They came back into stock at the Frontier Trading Post in Frontierland this week. They sell for $13.95. You can get all of the 1-60 cards for free by playing, but the rare cards (the lightening bolts), which are numbered 61-70, can only be obtained by buying the card packs. ETA: So if you can't find the card packs at the Emporium, look at the Frontier Trading Post.

Also remember that each guest who attends MNSSHP or MVMCP gets a free SOMK party card, which is limited to party guests. So if you're going to a party, make sure to pick up a party card.

but we're all connected to our kids' game
We are new to this game. How do you connect all the packs (or MB's?) to one game? I think my son would enjoy playing and it would be nice to get more packs of cards each day without all of us having to play each day.

They can help you at the firehouse. We have always had only one active game, but gotten packets of cards for each person in our party.
