Question about planning your day

Ok, I've looked at the menus, planned where we are going to eat but how do I figure out how to plan my day. For example if I want to eat a late lunch at 2:30 at the Sci-fi (MGM) then do I start at the same side of the park or the opposite and work my way towards it or just zig zag across the park all day? I assume that wouldn't be possible in Epcot because of the size. I'm going to be there the first week of December if that helps you help me. I've looked at the maps and I just don't know where to start.
Can anyone help?

We start counter clockwise from the entrance (when the park opens)...when it's time to get to your PS just know where it's located on the map and go. When you're done go back to where you left off and keep going. That's what I would do. We don't do sit downs for lunch but we do for dinner...time usually 6:50pm at the Sci-Fi...we stay there until 7:50 and head over to Fantasmic to get a good seat. And we don't leave to take break either.

First of all, the first week of December is usually not too crowded, so that should make your touring much easier.

We've never found any of the parks (including Epcot) to be so big that we couldn't get completely across them in less than 20 minutes. The main thing is to avoid trying to cross parade routes or any areas closed off for special productions.

It just depends on how much stamina you have and how much walking you are willing to do. At least in December you won't have to deal with heat and humidity
