Question about Pirate night

Quick question - I have some 'dress up' stuff for us to wear for Pirate night. My question is.....do people wear the pirate gear to dinner or do we wear our dinner outfits then go back to change for Pirate Night. I know the party is on deck but I wasn't sure if the dining room is also part of the Pirate theme.

Lots of people will wear their pirate gear to dinner! I'm sure some people go back and change after dinner, but it's by no means necessary. If you want to dress up for dinner you will be in great company!

If you are on a 4-night or longer cruise, dinner on pirate night will be pirate themed.

On the Merrytime cruises? Yes, they do (assuming it's an itinerary that would normally have a Pirate Night). We're on a Merrytime this November and have a Pirate Night scheduled.

Pirate night starts about 5 pm with the first set of character greets/backgrounds for pictures.

People do both. Some get decked out in full Pirate regalia at dinner and others put on a Pirate t-shirt after dinner, if at all. Whatever you choose to do, you will be comfortable knowing that there are others dressed like yourself.

They used to give out pirate Mickey bandanas left in the room that day. Not sure if they still do . Didn’t get them on the Wish but did get them on the Magic .

Usually the dress is starts from 5-6pm. Crew usually change around the first dinner seating and there is pirate themed dinner/shows/entertainment for the whole family and the deck parties. If the BBB are doing pirate makeup I recommend it. It’s lots of fun for all ages and there is lots of photograph opportunities also

You still get them on the other 4 ships, just not on the wish.

I keep wanting to dress up for pirate night but my inherent preference to pack as light as possible keeps me from doing it .

But you will not look out of place if you dress up.

I think the wands replaced the bandanas. But they give them out on the other ships with Pirate Night
