Question about pin books

I have one of the larger Disney pinbooks. Do you put the pins on the felt pages or on the hard pages? My wife and I have been putting them on the hard pages with the felt in between.

Maybe it doesn't matter?

It probably doesn't matter...use whichever is easier for you.

Which type (felt or hard) is the last page in the book? My guess is that is what was designed for the pins. Assuming that the pin backs don't need protection, but the tops do.
