I am in the planning phases of my next cruise, taking my whole family (DW, DS8, DS6, DD4) and both the Sister-in-law and Mother-in-law with her husband. My self and the two boys will be in one room while wife, daughter and sister-in-law share room 2. I know I will have to get at least two photo packages to cover core family and mother-in-law(room 3).

Do I need a third package to cover the sister-in-law? She is in the linked room with the wife and daughter. I know I can link the two rooms being one core family, but the sister-in-law adds a different twist to it.

You, your wife, and your kids are covered under one package. If any members from your immediate family are in any photos with your in-laws, those photos are also included. The only pictures not included in the one photo package would be pictures of your in-laws by themselves.

As an FYI, here is the relevant information on the MyCruisePhotos website for your in-laws, and the information for linking the staterooms together (your room and your wife's room). Basically you need to do this on board. Kind of a pain, as it's one more thing you need to do on Day 1, but it is what it is.

Suggestion - purchase the package for your wife's room, and link your room/kids once you're on board. Doing this gets your SiL included, and if they may deem you ineligible to be linked up (wording seems to indicate that this might happen), all you really have to do is make sure you're in shots with your wife and/or your kids (if you're like me, this will be 99% of the time) and you'll effectively be included.
