Since MYW tickets will probably go up on the first Sunday in August (per Mousesavers July 2010 newsletter), should I go ahead & pay off our November trip NOW? I know that's probably a dumb question, & I should know the answer to it.

Since I've only paid about $500 towards my trip, CAN they/WILL they increase the rates on my MYW tickets? Or is my price locked in, since I booked my trip a couple of months ago? Thanks for your help! :flower3:

good question! i'm joing the conversation because i'd also like to see other peoples input on this. i know the disclaimer states the price isnt locked in until paid in full... i'm hoping there's no increase!

I just can't remember how it's worked in the past. We usually go in the summer, so this has never really been an issue. We went in Sept last year & I'm sure we had our trip paid off before any August price increase. The last night of our November trip will be Premium, & I DEFINITELY don't want that price to go up! (It's already too high, in my opinion!) :rotfl:

i dont blame you! the premium price is really tough to get stuck with. i have two more payments left - 7/23 and 8/6 - i'm hoping if there is a price increase it doesnt break my bank! i'm taking my g/f to disney with the intention to propose to her. every penny saved goes to her ring - free dining was GREAT because it knocked $300 off my tab! I'd hate to see it go right back up :\

How WONDERFUL!!!!! What a great way to get engaged  My DD9 is already talking about her wedding---she informed us she's getting married IN Disney World.

i hope you're saving up to rent out the park for the day! :)

:rotfl: We watched a "Disney Dream Weddings" special & we don't need to save up to rent the park...we need to save up just to pay for the cheapest wedding WDW offers! :rotfl2: Luckily, we have 20+ yrs to save up...she's not allowed to date until she's 30.

If you've already booked, the price increase will not affect you. It doesn't matter if you have a balance to pay.

If you haven't booked.....do it now! Every little bit counts.

i hope thats true, what makes me nervous is this little tag they put on reservations...

All prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change until package is paid in full. After package is paid in full, package price is subject to change due to imposition of taxes or other charges of governmental authorities. If air transportation is included in the package, the airfare is not guaranteed until paid in full and the tickets are issued.

The normal practice Disney has is that once a package is booked they will not change the prices unless you make a change to the reservation. For example, if you add days to the tickets and there has been a ticket price change they will charge the new price.

The only time they will otherwise make a change is if the tax rate goes up.

Thank you, that's the peace of mind I needed :)

Thank you both SO much! :dance3:
