Question about Parking

Another post made me think of this. We will be driving this coming June to Disney. Since we will have a car, I had a question about parking. I know if we get to the parks at rope drop, we should be able to walk to the park without problem (except MK..I think we have to take a boat right?). But when we leave mid day and go back later, I know we will have to park way way out..is there a bus/shuttle or something that we will catch to get to the parks..since it will be so far out? And..if so..will the pick up spots be obvious to someone that has never been there?

Thanks so much!

Imoved your post here where our Transportation experts can give you some great information to your question.:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes Danny

You can catch a ride on the tram and like the other rides in the park these are fun too :goodvibes

Every parking lot has the tram system that runs continuously picking up people from their cars and bringing them to the gates and vice versa. It is a well marked lane that runs between the parking sections, impossible to miss! And we actually enjoyed the trams more than the buses at the end of the park day because they fit a lot more people than the resort buses and run much closer together so you get to your car fast at the end of a long day in the parks.

Sometimes Epcot does not run the parking lot tram during slow periods, but you should be parked within walking distance on those days (not necessarily easy walking distance :).)

I have seen Epcot parking cast carrying guests to their cars on golf carts when the trams are not running. I don't know whether that's a routinely offered service, or just for exceptional situations.
