Question about Park Tickets

Hi All,

I look at these boards all the time but almost never post. I can't seem to find the answer to this so I thought I'd throw it out here for all of you. I have booked a trip, staying at the Yacht Club for 6 nights in August. With that, I have MYW Package with Park Hoppers. After booking this, I found cheaper flights if we were to fly down a couple days earlier. Now, I have two nights booked at Pop Century before we begin our stay at YC for a total of 8 nights.

Question is: Can I begin using my park hopper tickets when we arrive at Pop even though they are connected to my YC package? I do not want to add any days to my ticket package as we are arriving late at night on day one and leaving early on the last day. I don't want to have to purchase a separate park ticket for the one day that is a "room only" reservation so I'm hoping we can just activate tickets early?

Thank you for any information you have :)

Disney reps on the phone will say the answer is "No" but in fact, Disney reps at Guest Relations at the Theme Parks and DTD will allow you to pick up your package tickets up to 3 days in advance of check-in. You need to have your package reservation info with you and photo ID. You can also add days to your tickets for $10.65 per day, up to 10 days max.

Guest Relations is shown on park maps you can pick up at the Concierge desk. They are located either to the left or the right of the park front gate. (There is also Guest Relations just inside each park gate, if you need any further assistance.)

The Ticket Sticky at the top of the forum explains the procedure in detail. See Post 15-I, "Picking up Package Tickets Prior To Start Of Package."
