Question about Park Hours??

During the month of March the park our at IOA vary. Most of the month it closes at 7:00 and part of the month 8:00. Why though on Mar 23rd and 24th does it close at 6:00?? These are 2 of the days that we will be visiting and staying at RPR. They are Thursday and Friday night. It seems odd during a pretty busy time to close earlier---are there special events going on?
Thanks for any help. This is my 1st time posting but my 4th time going to UO. Hard Rock once and RPR twice----We love it and the FOTL access. Can't wait for dinner at Buffet's and night time at O'briens either. 2 weeks until we get out of this snow.

Looks like only IOA closes early that night not the Studios. My guess was they have a special event going on that night at IOA.

Thats exactly when we'll be there, before going to DW (and staying at RPR so we can get the FOTL) , and I was wondering the same thing about the hours. Oh well.. We were thinking of Buffets too - I've never been to Universal - so you like Buffet's? Is it usually really crowded - do you call for priority seating?

We really enjoy going to Margaritaville. We have an older cousin traveling with us so we can go to Buffet's and O'Briens at night while he watches our kids at the RPR. Can hardly wait to hit IOA too.
