We are getting three one-day tickets when we go to Disney in September. My son and I already have days left from last trip, so my mom will be using all three of these tickets for her admissions. My question is, would it be possible for all the days to be put on her room key? Do I need to call and request this before hand?

Also, if we have our old room key with the days left on it, what will they do? Transfer the days to a new room key or just put the room and dining info on the new ones?

Just returned yesterday. I purchased a one day ticket (at AKL conceirge desk) for DD-9 and it was placed on her room key. DH forgot to get the hopper, so we upgraded it a few hours later and that was also placed on her key. Hope that helps a little?

They can put "tickets" onto room keys at the "Concierge Desk" (or Guest Relations Desk) at the resorts.

No need to call ahead.
Because if they CAN do it (if its "legal" for them to do it with the particular tix you have), they will tell you at the desk when you arrive and you can show them the tix.
Its not a "big deal" and it takes just a couple of minutes.

Normally the ticket admissions from an older ticket can be transferred to a room key provided there is not already another set of admissions (e.g. the required minimum one day to go with a package) already on that room key.

In your case, all three required one-day's cannot coexist on the same room key.

The simplest although far from foolproof way to go is for Mom to carry her own room key on Monday, carrry your room key on Tuesday and carry Junior's room key on Wednesday. Meanwhile you and Junior must be careful not to insert room keys in turnstiles so as to waste the one-days.

Okay, I am still confused. What will we do with our remaining days? I have two keys, each with 6 days remaining on them. Will those still be good as tickets, but not as a room key? Or do I have to have those days put on a new key somehow? And if the answer to that is yes, then how can my mom use the one days if they are now on with my remaining days? Could I request they just give us the one day tickets as paper tickets, so we can keep them separate?

If we just use the keys we had before as our admission keys, then I will just put the park names on the three new keys, so I know which one my mom needs to have each day. Will that work?

NO, cannot do this.

You cannot combine tickets purchased at multiple times onto a single ticket. Doesn't matter whether it be the paper ticket or a resort ID.

If you purchase a ticket of any length for the dining plan, you can upgrade that ticket to whatever you want with no problem within 14 days of first use. But you cannot combine either old, left over park tickets or additional single day tickets from other resort IDs with that ticket.

Your unused tickets that are on your old resort ID from your previous visit are still good and can and should be used off of that ID until exhausted.

Okay, that will work. My son and I will just use the other tickets and my mom can use each of our keys one day for the one day tickets. Doesn't matter how it gets done, just so it gets done. I did verify with the CM that my mom can use ALL three of the one day tickets since they will not be tied to a certain person until used.
