Question about old park hopper plus options

Hi! I am sorry that I always seem to have more questions, but after reading all these informative threads, I always seem to start thinking about upcoming trips etc. and the questions start. Of course with all the talk about the new AP price increase and the DVC discount going into effect today, my wheels are turning. :scratchin Oh no, watch out. Ha!

I am seriously considering buying APs with the DVC discount for our trip in August and probably a return trip in Feb. of 06. We still, however, have 6 day park hopper passes with 1 park day left on each and 2 plusses on each pass. I realize the park hopper has no expiration date so we will save the 1 park day for another trip when we do not have APs. However, I was wondering if we can just use the plusses on that pass in conjunction with using an AP. This way we do not have to buy a PAP to get to visit a water park. Is this possible or do you have to use a park day on the hopper in order to use a plus option.
I hope I made the question clear and thanks for all the help! :D Thanks!

The plus options on your PH+ ticket can be used without using the park admission. Just consider your one ticket as three seperate tickets.
One ticket for a theme park admission
One ticket for one water park or PI or WWoS
One ticket for one water park or PI or WWoS

We've even come home with only the plus feature left on all our hopper passes due to cold weather and not doing a water park and just used that the next year.

I have 2-3 pluses left on 4 tickets, I am purchasing new MYW 10 day tickets, does anyone know if they send you the tickets or vouchers, and can you have the remaining old pluses added to the new tickets so that you don't have to carry around 2 sets of tickets?

I don't know for sure, but I really doubt it. You've not been able to do things like that before. Also, the old plus options do not include DQ and the new plus options from MYW do.

Best wishes -

Someone likely knows more about this but it's my understanding that the plus options themselves have no cash value so you could not turn them in for a discount on a new pass. I also wonder whether WDW will let you combine the discounts and the trade in feature together. I see no reason they wouldn't do it but you'd have to do so at the parks and not through MS.

I e-mailed MS to see if they knew, I'm not looking for a discount, just less tickets to loose!!! Unfortunately the AP doesn't work for us, so I figured I get the 10 days with no exp and hopping, it would probably take 3-4 trips to use it up, but it would be nice to be able to add the old hoppers on, but I bet because they now include Disney Quest and the Sports Complex, they wouldn't allow it? I will find out in February. I may even buy the pluses again, you can't beat the price, and use the old ones for the water parks and save the new pluses for Quest, bet the kids would love it (ages 12 and 5!!)
