We h.aven't been to DW in years and DH was asking about the extra late nights they sold additional tickets for. Do they still do that? I can not remember the name of the ticket but it was nice to have less people in the park and you could get on the rollercoaster several times quickly.

not sure though now it Extra Magic Hour and its for resort guests

I believe they were called E-nights and only a limited number of tickets were available (for resort guests only) on those nights....they no longer do that, but they do have Extra Magic Hour, available to all Disney resort guests to enjoy free of charge. We have found that these nights at MK/Epcot have actually been more crowded at night than during the day. We had the opportunity to experience the new way several different times last year with pretty much the same result. We liked the old way, but change can be good.

The old E-nights were only at the Magic Kingdom and only for Disney resort guests. We were to a few and they were very good for the most part. Not nearly as crowded as the current Extra Magic Hours.
I would gladly pay a few extra dollars for some extra park time. We found the evening EMH last June a total waste of time. The crowds were as big or bigger than during the day at the Studios. We didn't try any others after that experience.

I miss the e-ticket nights!! It was so worth the extra 10.00 the parks were so not crowded!!

They were called E*Ride Nights and when we were there in 2003, the prices were $12 for adults and $10 for ages 3-9. There were 9 rides open.

We loved the E-ride nights! We even skipped going out to dinner on our anniversary because there was an E-ride night that evening. Probably our best WDW experience ever!

We LOVED E-Nights too! We haven't tried the new EMH for all resort guests yet in the evening (love the mornings), but from what I have read on these boards, they are just not the same as the E-Nights. It was well worth the extra cost to have the park at night, uncrowded, and could get onto the rides in very little time.

I hope one day they bring these back. Seems like they could do both. On the nights the EMH is at the other parks, they could still offer E-Nights at MK for an extra charge. We would pay!

Ditto! We did the E-ticket nights too. IT WAS GREAT! The MK was like a ghost town when we were there 03' middle of March. Kinda freaky...but in a good way! I never have had any luck with the EMH mornings...way to crazy. I haven't been since they started offering the EMH evenings, but it sounds just as bad. All for bringing back E-ticket nights say "AYE"!

The best times we had in the MK were back in the late '80's or early '90's when it was open till midnight during the summer months. No extra charge, no special name, just listed as the park hours. There were always two parades (9pm and 11pm) with the fireworks at 10pm. I miss those days.

My kids were night owls so we could stay out that late with no problem and the park was virtually empty

Aye! My sister and I did an e-ride night in February '03 and it was great! The park was so empty! We rode BTMRR and Space Mtn. over and over again, some times without even having to get off! At first I was excited to hear about the evening EMH program, but all the times I've tried it, whichever park is always mobbed. I think it was like $12 when my sister and I did it, I would gladly pay $15-20 for the old e-ride nights to have a limited number of people and not be as crowded.

Add us to the list of those that loved E Nights. It was great to be able to ride everything you wanted to in the course of just a few hours :earsboy:

BRING THEM BACK

JUNE 2004 DID THEM TWO NIGHTS, LOVED  :cloud9: THEM 100% MORE THEN EMN NIGHT TIME .
