So I believe that the night life is now at the Boardwalk, if I am wrong please let me know. My question is, is there any transportation from the boardwalk back to your resort in the evening after everything closes?

Downtown Disney still has shopping, Raglan Road, and Bongo's.

But yeah, I would pretty much say the Boardwalk would be the better choice for the nightlife. At the boardwalk, you've got Jellyrolls as the big attraction, and then there's the ESPN Club, and relaxing outside with some beer at the Big River Grill.

I've heard that there may be some late night busses leaving from the Boardwalk, but I don't know if that's confirmed. Taxi may be the best route.

I usually take a taxi from the boardwalk back to my hotel. With tip it is always less than 10 dollars from Boardwalk to Riverside or French Quarter. Oh, also spent less than 10 back to Pop last May.

After closing time there is a last bus from the Boardwalk to Downtown Disney (Pleasure Island stop). There you can connect to the last buses of the night to the various resorts. It's a hassle. The taxi is a better idea overall.

Atlantic Dance is also at the Boardwalk playing Top 40 and hip hop music and videos. Admission is free. The crowds vary from hardly anyone to pretty crowded. It's a beautiful facility.

Used the busses after a night (12:30ish) at Jellyrolls in February. Went to the bus stop and there were 3 DTD busses idling there. One of the drivers asked where I was headed - told him Pop Century so he had the first bus in line take me there. Had the bus to myself and it was FREE!!!! :woohoo:

Haven't done the nightlife at Disney before....Interested in dancing. Besides Atlantic Dance, is there dancing at the other places?
I'll be at the Yacht Club for last week at Sept, hoping to taking in Food and Wine as well!

Come on September!

House of Blues has various concerts; check their website to see who is playing on any given night. For instance, Lady Gaga performed last Monday night. Every Sunday night is service industry night and it's packed; no advance tickets needed.

Rix Lounge in the Coronado Springs Resort has a DJ but the few times I've been there weren't many people there.

Most people who want to go dancing either go to CityWalk at Universal or to downtown Orlando.
