Question about new 30% AP merch discount

Just saw the new 30% AP merchandise discount and was wondering if anyone knows if you can use it at the Epcot festival merchandise booths? I would love to buy the Orange bird drink pitcher and glasses if they’re still available when we arrive in August - has anyone seen them at the CM previews? Also, any idea if the 30% would apply to the purchase of a legacy lightsaber? Ty!

I saw it on “the site that can’t be mentioned”, as well as wdwmagic (I believe I can mention that one). 30% off until August 14.

Hopefully, I can upgrade my park tickets to Gold AP anyway.

We'll be renouncing our Disney AP's once we expire until communication gets better.

EDIT: OK... a quick search turned up what I think is an answer. Does it have to do with an upper extremity of the human anatatomy?

They were pretty upfront about it in the parks last Friday. All of the Cast Members were making a point to mention it to customers to encourage purchases. It really is a great deal on the 2020 Memorabilia, because you get BOGO and 30% off. My boys got two 2020 pins for $9!!

They were pretty upfront about it in the parks last Friday. All of the Cast Members were making a point to mention it to customers to encourage purchases. It really is a great deal on the 2020 Memorabilia, because you get BOGO and 30% off. My boys got two 2020 pins for $9!!

I see that it’s noted the Droid package is excluded, but on two occasions last week I received the 30% discount on the Droid package (Droid, backpack and personality chip).

I get notifications direct from the MDE app on my phone. On the day they released the 30% discount, I received a notification from Disneyworld. I've also received all the notifications about AP tickets and what they are doing. Granted, it is a few hours after one of these types of sites sends the info to me an email (subscribed newsletter) but it is pretty quickly sent to me by Disney themselves. So make sure you have the MDE app downloaded to your phone AND you've allowed the notifications.

We didn’t get it on my son’s droid. I got it on other stuff in SWGE. We didn’t get it on the Sphero D-O, but that makes sense.

I have used the discount on Dooneys. I also used it last week at the Epcot festival stores to get a set of the festival glasses and an Orange Bird ornament.
